A Focus on The Mind
Our staff are specially trained in care specific to dementia and memory loss disorders. Caregivers are required to attend on-going training on specific topics pertaining to resident care. A majority of our Caregivers are Certified Nursing Assistants and have additional certifications such as first aid and CPR. Our training program is designed to help the caregiver understand life from the residents’ perspective.
Resident Memory Care
Our management staff has many years of experience in caring for the elderly with memory disorders. Some of our managers have Nursing and Psychology experience, while others have been Paramedics or served in the Army. All of our management team bring their own unique skills and talents to our homes and are dedicated to the care and well being of our residents.
Home Administrators and Regional Managers have the opportunity each year to increase their knowledge in the Geriatrics field by attending annual state conferences and regional in-service training to keep them informed of any state regulation changes.
